Highland Park

About

The story behind Highland Park is a noteworthy one. Back in the early 1900’s Highland Park was apart of the City of Dallas until 1915, when Highland Park became its own city. Since then people have flocked to Highland Park for the upscale shopping, beautiful neighborhoods, and the “small town in a big town” feel. With the median household income above $200,000 the Dallas neighborhood is one of the wealthiest in the nation. Highland Park is situated right in the center of Dallas County. Its desirable location puts you within close proximity to Downtown Dallas, DFW Airport, & Love Field Airport.

If you are raising a family or thinking about raising a family, Highland Park is a great place to do so. Highland Park High School has been named one of the best high schools in the DFW Area. The athletic programs are great & the academics are even better with a student to teacher ratio of 1:15. The test scores that come out of this high school are definitely noteworthy, with an average ACT Score of 30 & SAT score of 1320.

If you like to shop look no further than Highland Park Village, this unique Mediterranean & Spanish styled shopping center is full of designer stores and upscale restaurants. A local favorite here is Lounge 31 that is known for its cocktails, sushi, & light options. If you prefer boutiques and independently owned stores you can make a short 5-minute drive down to Snider Plaza.

All this greatness doesn’t come with a downside however, Highland Park is a much more expensive place to live than some of the neighboring areas. With that said, Highland Park also lacks apartments so it can be slim pickings if you don’t know where to look. That’s where we can help!
